Fernwood Fitness is a health club that offers gym services to women in Australia. The club is well established with every item required for training purposes available. Different types of women body fitness exercises are offered inside the club. The sports club was started in more than 20 years ago. The club has established several branches, which are spread across the country. Currently, the sports club has 70 health and fitness centers across the country. The sport club has employed more than 2200 peoples of diverse cultures and religions. The club offers diverse services including gym, personal training, nutrition training, weight-loss programs and food services (Fernwood Women’s Health Club 2011). Overall head of the company is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), under the club CEO there are two general managers.
Among the leadership is the General Manager in charge of industry development, who also heads the marketing team and the customer service team. In each department, there is also an exercise supervisor who is under departmental manager and who is also in contact with the department operation. The club also runs a number of franchise outlets across Australia. I have been going to one of the club outlets in Australia for about 1-2 times a week for gym for a year and a half now. Therefore, I have been exposed to the activities of the club for the same time.
