Assignment:
There are a wide variety of
approaches to communication that can be used within different marketing
channels. A broader understanding of how communications can be used in
different marketing channels cam help organisations looking to expand
into new markets or even to re-focus on their current channels.
Within
your role as marketing assistant, you have been asked by your marketing
manager for John McEwan (www.johnmcewan.com.au) to produce a short
presentation that:
1. Briefly explains how the communications
mix can be applied to both the B2C and B2B marketing channels in order
to achieve marketing objectives (3 slides)
- Explain importance of distribution channels to John McEwan (currently only an online website)
- Which aspects of communication mix would work for current channels (online)
- Which aspects of communication mix would work for existing channels for a proposed B2B channel
2. Recommends how to monitor and control marketing channel behaviour using the following tools (3 slides):
- financial indicators
- non-financial indicators
(must use a balanced score card for this part and use it as a visual)
