Here is a discussion assignment. I just looked at the assignment. I
need one page including my response to a student’s viewpoint.
Discussion/Posting Response 9 Guidelines
Guidelines: This assignment requires you to post
an original thought and respond to one of your classmates thoughts. In
total, you will need to make two posts. Your original thought must be at
least two paragraphs in length with five sentences in each paragraph
(should include a FULL citation – not just a web link). Your response
post must be at least one paragraph in length with five sentences (does
not need a citation). While the original post should include a citation,
please remember that this is not a formal academic paper and your
postings should retain a “discussion” flavor. Timeframe: The
assignment will be due at 6:00PM 7/21/2013. If you are not aware of the
due dates for posts during the week, please consult the class calendar
on the WebCourse. Value: If you are an active member of
the discussion per the outlined guidelines, you will receive 20 points.
There is no partial credit. Make-ups are not permitted. Topic: One
of the key trends raised by our learning module this week relates to
the growing diversity of our population as well as our workforce.
Original Post 1) What are some of the “pros” of having a diverse
workforce in a healthcare environment? 2) What are some of the “cons” of
having a diverse workforce in a health care environment? 3) What are
two or three human resources management tools that you learned about
during this semester that will be most helpful to you in managing a
diverse workforce? Response Post Your second post should constructively
respond to one of your classmate’s posts. Please use full
sentences. Remember “I agree” or “good job on the posting” sentences DO
NOT count toward the 5 required sentences. Sources: To receive full
credit, you must cite at least one academic or government source to
support your position in your original thought post. Please do not cite
your book – this assignment requires you to do additional work. The
following websites are not appropriate academic citations:
Wikipedia.com; Ehow.com; Ask.com; About.com or anything in the same
genre.
